American Electric Karting League - STAGES

​

The American Electric Karting League (AEKL), powered by Blue Shock Race (BSR), is the first high-performance electric kart racing championship in the United States, sanctioned by the World Karting Association (WKA). Designed for the next generation of racers, AEKL offers young drivers an exciting opportunity to grow not only in competitive motorsport but also in personal development—building their racing skills, gaining national exposure, and developing a strong personal brand both on and off the track.

CATEGORIES & DIVISIONS

The BSR-X4 class will host the 15 and under racers and the new X5 class will hose the 16 and older racers

X4 - Junior

  • 15 year old and younger

  • 36 Horsepower

  • Rear brake only

X5 - Senior

  • 16 years old and up

  • 44 Horsepower

  • Front and rear brakes

How to Race

Owners Kart

Price: 

  • Entry Fee per Race Round

  • Tires - $275 per set

Powertrain:

  • Must be powered by Blue Shock Race Powertrain

Service:

  • Power available in Pit area for charging

  • Option for shared tent space

  • Tires must be Vega Red - available from Moto E

Price: 

  • Entry Fee + $1750 kart rental

  • Tires - $275 per set

Powertrain:

  • X4 or X5 depending on class​

Service:

  • Kart Prep, battery charging and exchanges, 

  • Shared Tent and Pit space

  • Shared Mechanic services available at additional cost

  • Tire changes with purchase of additional tires

 PORSCHE EXPERIENCE

The BSR-X4 Heavy Class winner will earn a trip to Europe – including a week with the BSR team and a 3-day Porsche Experience with Valters Zviedris.

This unforgettable journey is focused on real racing skill development in Porsche sports cars and takes place at the legendary BiÄ·ernieki Circuit in Riga – home to events like World RX and WRC
